Bad recording conditions should not mean re-recording.
VoiceAssist helps you start with a clean, dry signal by removing background noise and reverb from vocals and dialogue. Traffic noise, fan noise, room reflections, and other distractions can be reduced directly on your machine.
Spectral Editing lets you fine-tune the result to perfection when needed.
If poor mic positioning makes a voice sound muddy or dull, Recover Highs can restore missing clarity and presence, giving you a more balanced signal before mixing. A faster way to clean up real-world voice recordings and deliver professional results with less manual editing.

Every word and syllable matters, whether you are editing dialogue, vocals, podcasts, or voice-over.
VoiceAssist analyzes the performance and creates custom volume automation based on your settings. Instead of relying on heavy compression, it levels the voice naturally before it hits the rest of your mix chain.
Use slower settings for subtle, transparent volume riding, or faster settings for more controlled and consistent leveling when the voice needs to cut through.
With LUFS-I and LUFS-S target modes, VoiceAssist helps you match loudness across recordings while keeping peaks under control. The result is a balanced, natural voice track that is ready for mixing with less manual gain editing.
Missing low-end body in your voice recordings?
VoiceAssist helps recover low-frequency energy to give vocals and dialogue more weight before mixing.
At the same time, the low-end resonance reduction automatically detects narrow, boomy peaks in the low and low-mid range, so you can reduce muddy resonances without hunting them down manually.
The pitch-based low-cut analyzes the lowest pitch of the voice and places the cutoff accordingly. This helps remove unnecessary rumble while keeping the natural body of the recording intact.

Smacks and lip noise: once you hear them, you can’t ignore them.
Mouth Noise removes them quickly and reliably, helping you edit your audio faster without cutting them out manually.
With the Sensitivity parameter, you can control how many clicks are detected and how strongly they are reduced.
For even more control, use the automation line to adjust Sensitivity over time, so you can find the perfect value for each syllable or word.

Loud breaths and harsh sibilance can quickly make vocals and dialogue sound distracting or unprofessional.
VoiceAssist automatically detects breaths and sibilant sounds like “S”, “T”, and “SH”, so you can reduce them naturally without spending hours editing every section by hand.
Each detected region remains fully editable. Adjust the boundaries, change the intensity, add new regions, or remove sections whenever needed.
For sibilance, VoiceAssist can also use spectral processing to target only the harsh frequencies, instead of reducing the entire sound.
Clean pauses without cutting off words or making the voice sound unnatural.
VoiceAssist uses intelligent voice and silence detection to identify where the voice actually stops and starts. Instead of relying only on a fixed threshold, the Voice Gate reacts to the content of the recording and reduces unwanted noise between words only when needed.
This helps keep vocals and dialogue clean and consistent, even across changing environments, comped takes, or different mic positions.
For more control, you can also switch to a traditional threshold-based gate. Detected regions can be adjusted manually, so you can fine-tune the result for each recording.

VoiceAssist is built for people who spend a good part of their week working on vocals or spoken word. It automates the essential but boring parts of the job so you can get on with being creative. It also saves hours of time, which matters when you are working to tight budgets and deadlines.

Please note: On Windows systems, a dedicated NVIDIA or AMD graphics card is required.
Integrated graphics, such as Intel UHD or Intel Iris Xe, are not supported.
This means that your computer must have a separate graphics card from NVIDIA or AMD installed.
If your system only uses the graphics chip that is built into the CPU, VoiceAssist will not run correctly on Windows.
For reliable processing, we recommend a graphics card with at least 6 GB of VRAM.
Graphics cards with 4 GB of VRAM may not be sufficient in all cases.
Most desktop PCs with a gaming or workstation configuration meet this requirement.
Many standard office laptops, however, do not.
If you are unsure, you can check your graphics hardware in the Windows Device Manager under
“Display adapters” or use the free trial to verify compatibility.

You can use VoiceAssist via:
VoiceAssist officially supports full ARA integration in the following DAWs:
Other ARA-compatible hosts may also work. However, we recommend using the free trial first
to confirm compatibility and performance in your setup.
When working in video editing software, you’ll need to use the VoiceAssist (Advanced) Standalone:
• DaVinci Resolve
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Other video editing applications
Please note: Transferring your license to iLok will deactivate and remove the original NoiseWorks License.
No problem. If your DAW does not support ARA, use Transfer Mode (audio capture). This allows you to record the audio directly into VoiceAssist first. From there, the workflow is the same as if you were using ARA.
If you own VoiceAssist Advanced, you can also use the VoiceAssist Standalone application. The standalone version offers the same core voice processing features and lets you clean up and enhance your recordings independently of your DAW.
You can then export the processed audio files and import them back into your session or video project.
VoiceAssist cannot be used directly inside video editing software.
Video editors do not support ARA plug-ins.
In this case, please use the VoiceAssist Standalone application (available only in Advanced) to process your voice recordings first.
After processing, simply export the audio files and import them into your video editing project.
