How to Easily Use DynAssist Without ARA

No worries — even without ARA, DynAssist is a powerful tool for fast and precise vocal processing. Many DAWs don’t support ARA yet, but you can still take advantage of all its features. In this article, you’ll learn how it works with the Transfer Mode.

Transfer Mode

With Transfer Mode, you can record your audio directly into DynAssist and then edit it as usual.

Load DynAssist as the first insert on your track.
In the top right corner of the plugin, click the red Transfer button.
Press play in your DAW while the button is active.
Your audio will now be recorded into DynAssist, and once playback stops, the waveform will appear in the interface.
Stop playback or press the Transfer button again — now you can start editing your audio in DynAssist.

⚠️ Note: If you add new takes, you’ll need to re-record the audio into DynAssist.
